Growing up as a classical pianist, Laurlyn’s favorite pieces to play were Chopin Nocturnes. They were melodic, emotive, and allowed for free interpretation and expression. Woven throughout this moody EP are melancholy melodies and experimental sounds used to similarly set the scene of a Nocturne or “night music.”
